TV has its uses

In Downtown Nashville is the Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Grand Ole Opry radio show and famous country music venue.

The only reason Tom and I recognise it is from watching Nashville on TV before we came on holiday. It’s the venue for a big important concert in Season One.

It’s also apparently the home of Bluegrass Music. So that time spent at the Dunnore East Annual Bluegrass Festival in County Waterford in 1995 has so much more context now!
