Politics at Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen

Tired and looking for something cheap to eat we headed to Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen last night for some fried chicken.

The food was a bargain $12 total for both of us and was really delicious.

Also, you can’t tell me that poor people in this country don’t understand the problem presented by Donald Trump possibly becoming President. While we ate our chicken, the TV was showing the news and discussing the debate. One of the employees engaged us in a long conversation about Donald Trump and how rich or otherwise he is, as well as his problematic attitudes to women and black people. And they say the poor black community are unengaged in politics. Well perhaps they are, but by be means everyone!
